Loyalty Programs
Opticard’s loyalty programs allow you to offer customer incentives in three ways: point rewards, frequency rewards or discount rewards. Our loyalty programs can operate on a gift or stored-value card, or you can issue cards just for the loyalty program.
With the point rewards program, customers earn points or rewards based on how much they spend at the sports facility. Award levels and points redemption are customizable, and in the case of stored-value or gift cards used for loyalty, reward dollars or discounts can be added to the same card.
The frequency rewards program allows customers to purchase a predetermined number of items to receive a free or discounted item. This is a great incentive for regular customers to earn tee time or items like free sports accessories.
Opticard’s discount rewards program allows sports facilities to give customers an immediate, fixed discount when they present the card at the time of purchase. This program allows the business to offer customer savings while tracking customer spending and habits.
Gift & Stored-Value Cards
You can save time and prevent fraud by issuing gift and stored-value cards from Opticard. The cards are customizable: You choose the design, currency, expiration dates, inactivity support fee, card conversions and whether the cards are single-use or reloadable. The convenience and security is a plus for both facilities and their customers.
E-Gift Cards
Online shopping has steadily increased every year. Sports facilities can offer customers this convenience by allowing them to purchase gift cards online for their family and friends. Opticard’s secure online application allows customers to choose the card design, select a value denomination and include a personal message. The e-gift card is delivered to the recipient via e-mail and can be redeemed at the facility, on the facility’s website or over the telephone.
Complimentary Cards
Complimentary or “comp” cards allow you to track separate funds provided to customers at no cost. Whether distributed as a “thank you for your business” or “sorry for the poor service,” these cards offer a great customer service tool. They can also be used as employee incentives or for discount programs — for example, buy a $50 gift card and get a $10 comp card. Whether the funds are added to an existing card or to a separate card, the complimentary card program and its associated funds are managed and reported independently from other card programs.
Promotional Cards
Promotional cards can attract customers to your sports facility for special events, such as a grand opening or birthday. Opticard’s promotional card program allows the sports facility to set the card parameters, as well as define items, discount amounts, expiration dates and purchase requirements. Opticard’s reporting features also track promotional programs separately, allowing easy monitoring and evaluation.
Online Redemption Cards
Opticard supports gift cards that can be purchased in-store but redeemed exclusively online. This allows online merchants to market their goods and services at specific points of retail distribution.
Merchandise Returns
Opticard offers merchandise return cards, which can be issued in place of a cash refund or traditional credit certificate. If the customer already has a gift or stored-value card, then the refund can be added to the balance and tracked separately.
Multi-Retailer Cards
Opticard’s card programs can be used by multiple merchants in a preset environment such as a multi-course golf facility, resort village or sports complex. Funds are tracked electronically and automatically transferred via automated clearinghouse (ACH) to the appropriate merchant’s bank account. This program also offers a financial incentive to merchants by allowing them to retain fees from those who redeem the cards.
Opticard also provides online reporting, allowing individual merchants to view real-time transaction activity and the associated transfer of funds affecting their business.
Franchise Programs
Opticard offers customized programs for franchises. With programs for complete or partial franchise organizations, Opticard provides the necessary settlement reports and allows for a variety of intra-organization pricing and discount models. Furthermore, franchises can make daily settlement into a corporate account or store to store.
With the franchise program, ACH transfers can be set for a variety of frequencies. Opticard can perform transfers on a daily, weekly or monthly basis, or transfers can be set for specific days of the week.
